Sturgis local time · Mountain Time. Arrive before noon so you have time to find the gathering area.
Daily from the first Saturday through the final Saturday of the rally. No group photo on opening Friday.
Gather on Main Street near the photo tower at Junction Avenue in downtown Sturgis.

The official Sturgis Motorcycle Rally group photo is a tradition carried forward by Sturgis Photo & Gifts. Former owner Bob Davis helped establish it in partnership with the City of Sturgis. Today, we continue that legacy: gathering riders, capturing the moment, and printing the photographs in-house.
Whether Sturgis is your annual ride or a dream still ahead of you, this is a chance to bring home something personal. Look for yourself and your friends in the crowd. Remember the ride, the people, and the day you were part of it.

Sizes are in inches and refer to the photograph, not the outside of a mat. Matted options include a photo and mat, without a frame. The panoramic print is 60 inches wide.

Each day’s group photo is taken at 12 noon sharp. Prints of that day’s photograph are available to buy after 2 p.m. the same day at Sturgis Photo & Gifts, 1081 Main Street. All times are local Mountain Time. Ask our team about turnaround for matting and framing.
The group photo is taken at Junction & Main. Print assistance and pickup arrangements are handled at our shop at 1081 Main Street.

Motorcycle group photo questions, answered
Will the watermark appear on my print?
The repeating Sturgis Photo & Gifts watermark protects our online previews. It does not appear on your purchased print.
Is the photo at noon or 5 p.m.?
The current group photo is at noon. Older galleries from 2010–2019 include noon and 5 p.m. photographs, which can cause confusion. Follow the current schedule when planning your visit.
Is there a group photo on the first Friday?
No. The current schedule begins on the first Saturday of the rally and continues daily through the final Saturday.
Can I bring my motorcycle?
Motorcycles are part of the Main Street rally scene. Follow current street access rules and on-site directions; we cannot promise a particular parking space or position in the photograph.
Where do I pick up my print, and when will it be ready?
Same-day prints are available to buy after 2 p.m. at Sturgis Photo & Gifts, 1081 Main Street, following the noon group photo. Matting and framing turnaround is confirmed separately by our team.
Can I order after I get home?
Yes. Use our online archive to find your year and photo date, then select the options available for that photograph. For delivery outside the United States, contact us to confirm options before ordering.
Can you help me find a photo from an earlier rally?
Browse the year galleries above, covering 2010–2026. Older galleries include noon and 5 p.m. photographs. The 2020 gallery contains one Main Street scene instead of a posed group photo; the 2022 gallery also includes a photo collage.
